Committee
The Welfare & Environment Committee is in charge of public health affairs, including health improvement, health & sanitation and disease control; social welfare for low-income households, persons with disabilities and senior citizens to meet their welfare needs; women and families, including support policies for women, children and youth; environment and water policies, including the climate and air quality, resource recycling, river management and water quality improvement; and conducting relevant affairs with the Busan Institute of Health and Environment, Busan Water Authority, Busan Nakdong River Project Management Office and Busan Environmental Corporation.
